This is a double ended drum with a carved design on the body, and animal skins stretched over each end. It is decorated with a pattern resembling leopard skin. The drum rattles when it is shaken.
This mask is described by the Sierra Leone National Museum records as a Limba mask used “in ceremonial dances”.
Wooden Staff
An elaborately carved wooden staff. The staff shaft is decorated by a snake coiled around it, carved in high relief. A small female figure is depicted sitting on the top end of the staff, with detailed painted in white.
